Where to walk dogs
- Peter (10th Apr 2023 - 11:55:34)

How good would it be if the local councillor led by example and stopped walking his dogs over the few private fields, especially now they've been cultivated? There are miles and miles of public byways and footpaths round here.

You say you don't want houses on fields. If that's the case, stop trespassing and let them be farmed

In my experience, a lot of people (not all) who walk dogs have a very "entitled" attitude and seem to believe that their dogs' needs and requirements should take priority over the needs and requirements of wildlife, livestock, farmers, landowners, other walkers and pretty much everything else!

What a nasty small minded post! Hidden personal or political agenda here!

Wherever you walk them make sure you let them off the lead to have a run around, and ignore anyone whom falsely believes they must be on a lead..

But of course if your dog is a risk to others and or wildlife then be sensible and have them on a lead, even though it’s not and never will be legally required
