Are we as a European country and member of NATO slipping into war with Russia? - paul (17th Mar 2023 - 16:04:34) Hi, After Poland, and now Slovakia providing fighter planes to Ukraine, the conflict is getting worse. This was bound to happen as the war escalates, and more weaponry needed to protect border countries. If U.K .or American aircraft join in, all bets are of the table...tricky times ahead.

Re: Are we as a European country and member of NATO slipping into war with Russia? - Me-er (17th Mar 2023 - 22:50:49) HISTORY LESSON AFTER A FEW PINTS: After Russia took Crimea and a few bits of Donbas, of course it wanted all of Ukraine back like the good old days of 1945!! Of course it would NEVER have fought NATO, so it reluctantly compromised and demanded Ukraine to remain neutral. A difficult call, maybe that would have worked (much like Switzerland who Ukraine is now pressuring heavily to cease it's neutralty, but Switzerland is heroically still holding out, unlike Germany which is now no longer neutal-god help us!) Anyway, the US said we'll support you to the last Ukrainian man standing, which it will. This of course emboldened Ukraine to stick two digits up to Putin, but it turns out US support (as usual) is only with limited old stock ammo. Any modern stuff is too highly classified and cannot be risked falling into enermy hands. Plus the cost and risk to US economy, too scary to contemplate if you're American, (although funnily enough the US economy is somehow currently gaining massively on home grown environmentally questionable oil production on mainly Indian (sorry Native American) land). Anyway, Putin, who being totally unused to having two digits stuck up to him by some two bit ex comedian, predictably said 'are you trying to be funny?' and 'do you want some pal?' threw his world beating, but ultimately totally useless, corruption depleted army at Kiev, which with the help of some US missiles destroyed them pretty much in a day. All would end there, except some even bigger troll lunatic called Prizoghskin or something, went and offered every single known ex USSR prisoner immunity if they'd die on the front line for Russia, or is that now Wagner??? So they did. Sorry, can't remember my original point, what was the question?? Oh yes Boris comes in somewhere and the English (or is that Native Britisher's, can never keep up!). He tried to be Churchill for a couple of weeks, he never did become Churchill II, I think a little drinky on the lawn scuppered his liberation plans, but at least he tried. Meanwhile the US economy soars, the FTSE crashes, the people worry, the rich go on holiday, we all become more dependant on the US, China next boys, the US will back us to the hilt, let's all delete Tik Tok and go fight for Taiwan, or is it Hong Kong, no way will we ever let Chinese rule there, it's ours, to the last man, for America:)
