McDonald’s and other litter
- C (28th Dec 2022 - 19:05:13)

I'm picking up increasing amounts of McDonalds litter around the village.
Also loads of Maoam and Haribo sweet wrappers. Depressing how many people don’t understand how bins work!

Too late to object to McDonalds opening and FAR to late to correct anything, ping your legal details and claim over to Maccy's and watch your bank account drain and your home disappear.

Ps this isn't tik tok.. no kids throwing litter are watching here, just 6 people with 120 names

C… you have had a beef about McDonald’s since it became knowledge they were opening. I walk around the village almost everyday, Haslemere Road, London Road, Longmoor Road most frequently and have seen barely any McD litter, I think you are making it up. There is however increasing amounts of Dog poo along with the BS!

Ian- Not making it up, Am in the process of cataloging (sad I know) What I am picking up, where from and a picture to prove. Since Boxing day I have 7 pictures in seven different locations. I would suggest if the original poster is finding items and picking them up (as I am) then they are not the same items. If you don't think people littering is a problem fair enough that's your problem but don't accuse people of lying when the evidence is plain to see. Maybe you are not seeing any as some people care enough to pick it up and put it in a bin.

I will be at and around Bramshott church from around 9:30 this morning going around Church Lane and Tunbridge Lane , up towards Bramshott Common and back at the bottom towards Passfield near the Mill on the almost daily collection of litter....All welcome, please feel free to join me.

Ian, I promise you I would be delighted to be proved wrong about the litter from McDonalds but I can assure you I have picked up plenty. Of course there’s other stuff too - Red Bull is a frequent offender. I don’t care what people eat and drink- I just wish they’d dispose of it responsibly. Certainly not making it up! And yes, the dog poo bags baffle me.

Also Scott-would happily join you litter picking sometime! Thank you for doing it.

As long as we're making clear we're not blaming McDonalds for the litter which is dropped by us, just because we can't control our villagers after eating doesn't mean the new business should be blamed, it can't station staff all over town, that's our community leaders job, but overall Liphook isn't too bad compared to most places.
