Scouts Autumn Fair 1st Oct 11.30 - 4
- Lesley (23rd Sep 2011 - 13:35:10)

Organisation for the scouts fund raising fair at the Millennium hall is nearing completion and to tempt you to come and join us here are just SOME of the stalls;
NERF shooting, bric a brac, bobbing for apples, books, new and second hand toys, bottle tombola, sweets tombola, lucky dip, cake stall, plants and produce, crockery smashing, cards, guess the weight of the cake, Dylan's ice cream, guess the name of the beaver, Little Pink Cup Cake Co, Wooden bowls, treasure island game.

All this plus a fabulous raffle which includes Chanel perfume, special edition Dolce & Gabbana Martini, Lakeland casserole dish, cream tea for 2 at No 26, indulgent bath goodies and much, much more.

Scouts will be cooking bacon and sausages and making their famous camp doughnuts.

Put it in your diary and bring the family for a fun and inexpensive day out.

Less than a week to go and families around Liphook are digging out their last bits of bric a brac and deciding which cake to bake.

If anyone would like to contribute we can still find room for damaged china, bric a brac, cakes, bottles and sweets. If you do have anything then please bring it along on the morning or I can collect from you during the week.

Many thanks

Hi Lesley,
Would you like a meal voucher from the Gurkha Chautari Nepalese Restaurant in Station Road as one of your many lovely raffle prizes?
Please let me know (via this link is okay.)
Sudha.

Yes please, that would be absolutely lovely. Should I come to the restaurant to pick it up?

Many thanks

Lesley

Hi Lesley,
Please drop in to the Gurkha Chautari in the evenings between 6 and 11 PM to collect the Voucher.
I hope that the weather will be really dry and sunny for the Scouts on the 30th.
Sudha.

It is the Millennium Hall, the bit on the left hand side as you are facing the building is the Scout Hut and we will be using the adjoining Guides side as well.

If the weather continues to be so warm we will use the outside space at the back on the green as well.

See you there

There will now be ZORBS at the fair, situated on the green behind the hall. For those who have never heard of Zorbs they are like a giant hamster ball that you sit inside of and roll around. Great fun to try and to watch.

THERE IS NOW A BOTTLE OF SINGLE MALT WHISKY FROM THE AUCHENTOSHAN DISTILLERY ON THE BOTTLE TOMBOLA. Only 30p a ticket

Entry to the fair is FREE
