So instead of whingeing, i'd like to take up the offer of talking about things that matter. For me that also means prosposing ideas instead of just complaining - here's my starting contribution.
Following on from Ben's gig, for the boy racers of Liphook:
Stock Car Racing, as we know it is actually split up into several different formulae (like F1, F3000 and so on). Here are a few of them. At the bottom end of the range you have Ministox. Here, drivers from 11-17 (yes, that's right) can learn to hone their skills driving minis in an incredibly dangerous fashion.
In a similar vein is the Rookie Banger formula. In a way this is audience participation taken as far as it can go - apply for a license, bring along a car and let rip on the quarter mile circuit (the standard length for Stock Car Racing).
