Who is the oldest person in Liphook now?
- paul (18th Jul 2022 - 18:17:38)
Hi,
I would love to now, and for fellow residents, the oldest person still alive.
The history of our village dates many hundreds of years.
Fortunately, some well-known Liphook families have carried-on the tradition of local life for generations.
Yes we live in a modern life for the future, but the desire of Liphook life carries-on.

Hi Karen,
Well done to your mother living to a grand age.
Must be something in the local clean air we live healthy, and long-term over generations.

I am aware of a lady who is a resident at Green Banks called Avis and she was born 1st August 1918.making her 104 years of age. Lovely lady and she was a Client of Liphook Day Centre for many years. At the Liphook Day Centre we have had many Clients who have been 100 plus. As you say it must be the air in Liphook.

Hi,
I remember Avis, a fine lady who never gave up being positive with family, and friends.
I am related, and always remember her smiling face when at her bungalow on Longmoor road.
