Southdowns Manor are currently hosting around 200 weddings a year and truly value their team. Below I have detailed one of the roles available we also have housekeeping and further FOH roles available. We have an exciting and rare opportunity to join our front of house team in the position of Front of House Supervisor. We pride ourselves on offering the very best of service to each and every guest with a truly bespoke experience for each and every event we hold. We are looking for a candidate who has previous experience within the hospitality industry, particularly around the waiting and bar areas. We will also be looking for the successful applicant to hold the same values as the whole team at Southdowns Manor – offering a truly bespoke service to the highest of standards every day. Southdowns Manor is a family run, multi award winning, exclusive use wedding and events venue situated between Midhurst and Petersfield but within easy reach of Chichester and Portsmouth. We host around 200 + exclusive use events per year and pride ourselves on customer service excellence and always providing the best product. Due to this we have built up an excellent reputation within the South Coast and beyond. We have a close-knit team throughout the entire venue and rarely have positions such as this come available. This is an ideal opportunity to get involved in the exclusive use wedding and events industry which is very different to the hotel and restaurant industry. The successful applicant will: - Have previous experience within the hospitality industry - Have experience in supervising within hospitality or similar - Understand stock rotation and ordering - Be proactive in inspiring the very best from the team at all times - Hold and undertake the same principles set out by the Operations Manager & senior management – i.e. having a friendly, non-intrusive, professional approach to all guests and always going that extra 10% - Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures Hours of work will be structured but will vary from day shifts to evening shifts. We are always as flexible as possible with working hours and appreciate a healthy work – life balance for everyone. Your own transport is essential due to the location of the venue and lack of public transport amenities locally.
