Liphook in Bloom

Hats off and congratulations to the Liphook In Bloom volunteers for a really first class display this year. The beds, baskets and boxes are a credit to the village and a testimony to the hard work that has been put in.
I expect that many of the residents take the floral displays for granted but I am equally sure that visitors and people passing through the village will be impressed with the overall statement that these outstanding colourful displays give.

Just reflecting on what's happened since the recent judging panel toured the Parish, it's great to see the LiB volunteers going round every evening and watering and tidying. The team are dedicated!
The look of the village last evening was great. I toured round all the main planting plots and am amazed how much they have developed, especially the herb garden outside Hiscock's, and the pond area opposite Sainsbury's.
