Ajax House / Allianz
- Charlie (7th Jun 2022 - 22:58:43)

Just a note to say that some teenagers have managed to get inside Ajax house, today, and have vandalised the interior of the building with fire extinguishers - and smashed a few of the exterior windows - along with accessing the roof of the older building. Just a warning that the building isn’t that safe to have teenagers trying to turn power on and get equipment running. Wouldn’t want to see anyone get trapped because of a stupid decision to go “looking about”

Oh yes, we must make sure teenagers can go illegally breaking and entering in a safe manner.

Charlie, did you witness it was teenagers? If so did you report it the police?

Ann perhaps it was a group of pensioners fed up with the queue in the chemist.

Marvellous place for a rave. As long as they include OAP we love a good time.

That would put a stop to all debate or anyone disagreeing with you then Ann!

Hi,
For premises of this size and for insurance reasons, there should be security patrols reporting incidents.
Reckless behaviour happens every school holiday (half-term) time in Liphook sadly,

Sure I understand you can’t help behaviour - and do something illegal in a safe manner, there is a lot of corrosive chemicals in the building.. my suggestion was just to make people aware of the danger.. of someone’s child is in the building! It has been reported to the owners of the site and they are going to deal with accordingly .. maybe shouldn’t of made locals aware.

Does anyone have a 1 man tent I could borrow as I need to pick up a prescription tomorrow?

Hello. A little update from us, Ashill, as owners of the site.
As Charlie mentioned, we were made aware of the break-ins to the office building on Tuesday evening. Our neighbours very kindly secured the building the best they could that night.
We have subsequently been to site and ascertained how the trespassers have accessed the site and the building. Our contractor is due to secure the boundary with fencing and secure the access doors from the fire escapes asap.
As Charlie said, we are concerned for safety of intruders, though I can confirm that we don’t have corrosive chemicals in the building.
We will be contacting Bohunt School and the police to make them aware of the break in.
Our joint application with McCarthy Stone for a retirement living development has now been submitted and should be validated very soon.
If anyone has any questions please contact me directly and I’d be pleased to answer if I can.

Tracy,

Please can your company look at the massive holes in the hedge along the carpark. I have seen the youths (some younger than teens) going in and out through the hedgerow onto Coytes Paddock. It has been reported to police before anyone asks.

What a world we live in, when someone has to make sure their property is safe for intruders to break into. I'm sure someone who has had their own home broken into would want the intruders of Ajax House prosecuted, not protected.
