Liphook Village Surgery Patient Participation Group - Jane May (14th Sep 2011 - 11:08:27) Liphook Village Surgery established a Patient Participation Group (PPG) early in 2008. The purpose of the PPG is to represent the interests of the patients, providing a communication link between Patients and the Practice to ensure we deliver a service that most reflects their needs. To date, amongst its achievements, the PPG has been instrumental in setting up a Carers Group to support those members of our community (not necessarily our patients) who bear the responsibility of caring for a member of their family. The PPG will shortly be asking our patients what other projects are important to improving Liphook Village Surgery. We are immensely proud of our PPG and always seek to involve individuals whose personal qualities and experiences would enhance this group. Our PPG meets every quarter and we are also establishing a Virtual PPG whose members would be contacted 2-3 times a year by email in order that we can seek their views and represent as wider cross section of our practice population as possible.
