Dance for a youngster - steve (14th Sep 2011 - 07:03:40) Our daughter (8) is showing great interest in all forms of dance but particularly the more modern stuff! We've not lived in the village that long but would be very keen to hear of any tips/suggestions of where to start looking? Many thanks ;-)

They have ballet classes in Liphook, Beacon Hill and Haslemere They do tap and modern classes, street and also drama classes. Excellent value.My daughters have been there for 10 years. They perform for local fetes and hold dance shows. You can take dancing exams if you want to as well. For more info www.haparts.co.uk

Re: Dance for a youngster - marian c (14th Sep 2011 - 08:01:21) My daughters have gone to Planet Dance in the Millenium Hall on a Thursday for the last six years. Sam and Becky who run it are great and the focus is more on having fun dancing than being about fantastic technique. They do a show about every eighteen months and I think have their own website now.
