Highfield Corner - Eric Benson (1st Jun 2022 - 16:38:21) Highfield Corner. Does anyone know why and by whom and for what purpose the little layby at Highfield Corner, much used by dog walkers accessing Stanley Common, has been blocked off by large timber trunks and an earth bank? Regards Eric

I did notice today that the large tree trunks have been taken away and the top soil has been raked over, surely won't take long for people to start to drive over to soil and we're back to the original lay-by? Highfield School/Estate do appear to be very pro-active in altering Liphooks environment at the moment......... anything to do with their wish to build 600+ houses in their part of our community???????
