The Liphook Bike Ride
- Liphook Bike Ride Admin (30th May 2022 - 16:08:47)

Only a few weeks away . Just a reminder that you can book online at www.liphookbikeride.com . Booking in advance is £5 cheaper than on the day.

A few little things to note this year.

You can sign on and pre-register at the Millennium Hall on Saturday 11th . Any entries on the Saturday will still be at the reduced rate.

There will not be rider numbers this year ( trying to be green) . But you will still need to sign-on for insurance purposes either on the Saturday morning or on the day of the ride ..

And lastly - There is a staggered start this year - Start is from 9:45 through to 10:20 .

For more information or to register please go to www.liphookbikeride.com or email admin@liphookbikeride.com

Can you advise on any road closure times for this event? Thankyou.

D,

We have not obtained a road closure this year, there has been a change in the rules since the last ride which made this much more difficult.

We have changed the route (info on our web site) and will be staggering the start to avoid congestion which will improve rider safety (our main concern) and disruption to local traffic.

We would appreciate it if all drivers going down Portsmouth Road (a.k.a. the old A3) between 9:45 and 10:30 on Sunday 12 June would take additional care, especially where The Firs (the road past the Church Centre) joins.

Hope this helps.

Thankyou Erwin, that's most helpful.
