Working mum looking for weekend classes for toddler - Clare Powell (12th Aug 2011 - 12:53:38) I have a 2 year old daughter and would be interested in joining any classes that run on a Saturday. We are new to Liphook and I work full time. I know she can start ballet at 2.5yrs but we have 6 months to go til then! Music, movement, anything! I have a just-turned-two year old daughter and nine month old son. While I have found loads of stuff to do during the week, I haven't found many organised weekend things. There is the new playground at the rec, of course, and the swimming pool complex in Haslemere, and Hollycombe of course. Plus (I think I have this right) the beach and lake at Frensham not far away, the soft play thing at Applegarth (though that might just be in the week) and things like pick your own which I imagine might be fun for a toddler (if messy and expensive for the parents!!) Once we have moved you are, of course, welcome for playdates at the weekend! Anything to pass the time between 5.30am and bathtime is a welcome distraction!! Have you got your childcare sorted? I am wavering about what's best to do... Hannah
