Hemming tape

I need trousers shortened and it has been suggested that hemming tape is the solution.
Has anybody used this stuff and does it work.
More importantly is it easy for a non domesticated man to use??

I have used hemming tape and found it works really well, (being someone with no experience and completely unable to use a sewing needle myself, you should be fine!)
You need to iron a crease in your trousers at the desired length and then lay the tape inside the seem and iron it closed. This will effectively glue the seen closed. Easy. Good luck!
