Filming at Liphook Anchor

Does anyone know why crew were filming around Liphook and the anchor today? There was a camera filming from near the bike shop across to the anchor. And another camera at the anchor.

Perhaps there doing a film to show how brilliant the Anchor is with all those 5 star reviews it keeps getting.

Are you sure that they were filming with a camera?
When I came through the square late morning there were a couple of guys scoping with a theodolite on a tripod focussed from the late florist's shop across the forecourt of the Anchor.

Probably a traffic survey then and M, aka Cllr Bill Mouland will enlighten us if it was EHDC related, or Cllr Mrs Curnow Ford if it was HCC related.

Maybe a sequel to the latest James Bond movie " No Time To Die". Re-titled "No Time In The Anchor To Die" should be a big hit!

One of the housing developers have just posted a welcome to Liphook film which keeps appearing on my Facebook feed maybe it was that. Lots of shots of the square, Anchor, Links, Deers Hit, Applegarth Farm and Haslemere Sports Centre.

Love to book a seat at the living room cinema as advertised and a walk through the independent high street. False advertising at its best. Brilliant. Just my opinion
