Slightly annoyingly we need to drive to Thursley and then back up the A3 to go through it today...but on Friday we can go both ways. Think I can feel a shopping spree to Guildford coming on.... :-)

Jane,
The article about the Tunnel in the Messenger suggested the northbound section may not open on Friday after all and the Highways Agency site simply says "the northbound section will open a few days later"...so you may have to postpone your shopping trip!!
