EHDC Litter pick - Editor (3rd Jun 2021 - 09:09:36) In light of the recent litter picking sessions and discussions on TalkBack here is a press release from EHDC - Pledge to litter pick for a cleaner district With Keep Britain Tidy’s Great British Spring Clean fortnight underway and World Environment Day approaching, we are encouraging everyone to get involved by helping pick up litter whilst out on a walk or enjoying their local green space. Our outdoor spaces and places have mattered to us more than ever before, so why not join the campaign and show some love for those special places that helped us through lockdown. Even if you only pick up three bits of litter, this can make a big difference to how our environment looks. Find out more and how to get involved on the Great British Spring Clean website. World Environment Day is celebrated every year on 5 June and is a global platform to inspire positive change. This year why not use world environment day as a chance to litter pick in your local area, examine the way you reduce, reuse, recycle at home, or get out and explore nature?
