O2 Network problems
- Jane G (26th May 2005 - 19:14:23)

I'm a regular O2 mobile user and have been experiencing loads of problems with network coverage in Liphook over the last 2 weeks - ie the network is down most of the time. I've been using O2 quite happily for over 3 years. I have reported this problem to O2 and they have admitted there is a problem in our area but they can't give me any indication of how long the problem will take to fix. They did suggest that anyone else in the area who is having the same problem should phone and report it as the more people who complain the higher up the priority list it goes. I have a report number and contact phone number, if anyone wants to get in touch with them let me know.

I'm having the same problem. I've heard it's because there's a mast not working somewhere. Can you please post the number to complain to.

Try calling the O2 engineers direct on 08705 214000 - the report number for the fault is 454561. You may or may not get thru' on this number as they will only take calls from direct customers - so you may have to go through someone like Carphone Warehouse (depending where you bought your phone) and they can connect you. I spoke to O2 this week and they said that they didn't know if the problem would be fixed today, tomorrow, this week, next month......reassuring hey?
I've managed to get some free line rental out of them though and I guess the more people who hit them where it hurts the better!
