Last night, so sadly, at just past 8.30 on the road with the kebab van but in the village so to speak, I witnessed a small possibly mottled dark grey cat run into the road and get hit by a car. The driver stopped, and we looked around for the cat but it was nowhere. There was no scream. We looked around the corner, we couldn't hear anything. I told the driver there was nothing he could have done or do.
