Aston Martin

I see that aston martin are going to build the new electric sports car in England. Hope this will be good for our economy more jobs ect . Perhaps this is the start of more manufacturing in this country there seems to be a big upturn in optimism running through the country at the moment many business gearing up for the future. With all the expertise we have in this country designers engineers etc we could see a big turnaround in our fortunes. Here’s hoping.

All their cars are built here already I think, so it may not be that they need to increase the workforce. I think it is a bit like Mclarens, a very niche market.

Is this the same Aston Martin that cut 500 jobs just a few months ago? The same Canadian/Swiss owned company that now make this iconic 150 odd cars a month in Wales?
If so everyone in Liphook is in for a massive windfall of cash n jobs from it.
