Byways around Bramshott & Liphook - Freddie Dawkins (2nd Jun 2003 - 10:03:22) Just to let everyone know that there is an open Byways Forum on Thursday at 8pm. It wil be at the Parish Office, The Haskell Centre, Midhurst Road (next to the car park). The meeting will be a roundtable-style, with walkers, ramblers, horse-riders and bike-riders attending. There may also be someone along from the Preservation Society. Did you know that we have have more than 40 miles of public byways around the village? I have been amazed at the rich fund of historical knowledge which is resident in Bramshott & Liphook. I thought I knew quite a few byways, but after 10 years, I realise I am just a beginner. Special thanks to the Liphook Ramblers, local horse-riders and seasoned walkers, who gave so much of their time and knowledge on Thursday evening.
