Car broken into at Iron Hill

On Monday morning my car window was smashed and my handbag was stolen at Iron Hill car park. I had hidden my handbag inside an old wellyboot bag and they knew exactly which window to smash and where to find it (left the boot bag behind). This makes me think that they were waiting and watching and then pounced quickly. The car park was very busy and there were a lot of walkers so they must have been very speedy. Be careful everyone, and if anyone finds any discarded items I would be so appreciative. Lots of sentimental stuff etc. Many thanks

Hetty Palmer I am so sorry for your loss. I had exactly the same thing happen to me some years ago in a pub carpark. Like you I had a couple of sentimental items in the bag. Rule number 1 never leave anything of value in a car as there are so many scumbags about who are watching.
