My father was born in 1918 and fought in WW2. He was in the 14th army, the forgotten army fighting in the jungle. He was in Burma and West Africa.
When I was a young girl I would sit for hours listing to his stories. He mostly only told me the funny/silly things due to my age.
I miss my Dad.
Thank you Liphook in Bloom for all you do for our village xxx :-)
