Devils Lane
- Nicola Pierce (8th Jul 2011 - 10:40:24)

Remember all those who object to the development on Devils Lane please write to the Ehdc asap for attention Dane Swallow and USE THE REFERENCE 52747/003. Also remember to please use your address and sign your name (there's safety in numbers) as the Council will bin all anonymous letters. We need to show the council how many people feel about this and the more genuine letters we send the more impact we will make.

The reference you have given is for the original application on the certificate of lawfulness, which was turned down. There is no new application on the EHDC website to reply to as yet , so I should imagine you have to just write and state your objections by putting the address.

The traffic up Devils Lane has been very heavy this weekend due to the new family in the field. There have also been a lot of walkers, joggers and families with pushchairs out and about enjoying the lane, I myself was walking the dogs this evening, when a 4x4 came up over the bridge far too fast. I shouted to him to slow down and he reversed up to me,he was on a mobile phone as well. He then drove into the Gypsy field. I can see an accident happening before long.
