I love LIPHOOK
- Editor (7th Jul 2011 - 17:23:58)
To generate some more funds for the Carnival this year, we are producing some ceramic mugs with "I love LIPHOOK" on one side and the painting for the new village sign on the other.
Dark Group Ltd will donate £2 from the sale of each mug to the Carnival fund.
The mugs cost £6 each including VAT, plus any postage and packaging costs. But can be collected from Passfield during office hours (or elsewhere by arrangement) once ordered.
Payment can be cash / cheque or credit card.
To order please email studio@bright.co.uk with Liphook mug as the subject. Include your name, address and how you would like to pay. We will then let you know when they will be ready - usually next working day.
Remember £2 goes to the Carnival.

Dimensions - 70mm high x 73mm diameter

What a brilliant idea.
Are you going to get local establishments to stock them for you as well?
| | I guess it will depend on demand, but for now they will be produced as and when ordered |

Wow! Thank you! I have only just seen this thread. That is a great idea and we are very grateful.
Thanks from everyone on the Carnival Committee!

While I endorse the general principle of a Liphook-themed drinking utensil, I find the word "love" just a bit strong. How about "LIPHOOK: JUST FINE BY ME" and/or "I HAVE NO PROBLEMS WITH LIPHOOK"? I would definitely sign up for that.
| | Well it is only a red heart - not the word 'love' on the mug - so I guess you can read into what you like - LOL. But if you would like one with your own wording, I'll do it for you ! |

Perhaps it should just be expanded a little to read 'I Love LIphook.co.uk'

I think that the Carnival Committee should place a large order for these mugs and ask local shops to stock them specially Sainsburys as I am sure a lot of people shop there.

The mug is a great idea. Possible alternative wording to "I love Liphook":
"Liphook - Blooming Good!"

I agree with the idea these will sell alot better if made available in shops. I'd buy them but cant be bothered to faff about with online ordering - I'd sooner pick them up whilst out and about.
Anyone remember the Liphook plates they sold back in 2000? They were sold in local shops and did well.

I really feel that someone ought to order these lovely mugs and sell them either at the Saturday market or Millenium Hall,Bohunt School or failing that ask Peep Inside and Gables to stock them.
I am sure they will sell like hot cakes specially with Christmas round the corner ..it is something local and should be made easily available.
Unfortunately,I have not got the funds nor the time..although I would definitely buy a couple.
| | I only produce these to order, so if any shop wants to stock them, please just place an order and I will make them. Remember £2 from the sale of each mug is being donated to the Carnival Committee this year.
2 sizes are available, same price, either the smaller coffee mug (as dimensioned above) or a normal sized 10oz tea mug. Please specify 'tea' or 'coffee' when ordering.
We can also do individual commissions of mugs as special Christmas presents, please email for a quote. |
