- Jana (6th Jul 2011 - 23:47:43)
Evening All,
Just driven home past the Top Chef Chinese Takeaway in Station Road and noticed FOUR police cars parked all over the road.
They have sealed off the Top Chef with blue police tape :(
Anyone know whats going on?

Hope nobody in Top Chef was hurt - they are nice people in there. I gather that there were armed police on the scene at some stage and the helicopter was over for a long time.
A bit worrying for the other businesses open late in Station Road. Hope this isn't a trend.

A new trend?
Just heard that a friend who lives a few miles away had her house broken into while they were asleep and her handbag was taken. They tried to get the car going but couldn't get it started and moved further down the road where they managed to get the car going and drove away.

Delighted to hear they were caught.
Just mulling over the fact that the 16 year old can't be named for legal reasons, yet clearly she appears to have been involved in serious crimes - her age didn't bother her then, did it!
