National Lockdown needed
- Ian (6th Oct 2020  17:33:19)

It seems obvious the half measures in place are not stopping the second wave of Coronvirus pandemic. Clearly to save thousands of lives we need an immediate second national lockdown immediately!

Great Idea!!..

Giving Ian a 7 out of 10 for that opening troll, I like the fawned ridiculousness of it, well done Ian your a local star mate keep up the good trolling

Re: National Lockdown needed
- Ian (6th Oct 2020  21:49:53)

How ironic John as you’re actually trolling me! Well done 10 out of 10!

Re: National Lockdown needed
- John (6th Oct 2020  22:40:07)

Clear winner here then and by three whole points as well.

Anyway enough fun, should I presume your going to follow up the opening statement? for if your the same Ian that lays waste to everything on this site then I know your opening is a stirring setup, do tell us about the lockdown please.

Please excuse the late reply from Ian......
Hes currently making the very thorough calculations as to how much and where to find the many tens of millions needed to support a 2nd lockdown.

We wait, still waiting, Ian , Ian.............

Ian

If you are serious you are an idiot and apologies to the snowflakes a RETARD.

We do not need a lockdown, certainly some measure to protect the elderly, as this virus is not dangerous to the vast majority of the population.

We need to re-open everything get the economy up and running.

AF,

The R-Slur should not be used due to its derogatory meaning. It is equivalent of the n-word and f-slur which we know not to use.

Educate yourself by looking at this page: aruma.com.au/about-us/blog/two-words-you-need-to-remove-from-your-vocabulary

Editor-should calling other posters an idiot and a retard be acceptable on this site?If so , you are accepting that any kind of reasonable debate is pointless.

Re: National Lockdown needed
- Jay (7th Oct 2020  14:47:30)

Careful who you're calling names AF. If you look at the figures for the north of England at the moment, it is not the elderly who are at risk, it is the younger generation and hospitals are filling up quickly.

Re: National Lockdown needed

Ian probably wont be responding as he has achieved his ends by throwing something wild in for us all to lose our minds.

On a serious note the UK is now hitting near twice the amount of daily cases than it did at the peak of the first wave and some parts of the UK are properly in trouble.Fortunately so far East hampshire is doing OK, but it is growing, 3-4 weeks ago it was 9 cases a week but now its up 33 cases in the last week so it going the wrong direction and its not unreasonable to suggestion that will reach the 100's per week like other parts of the country.

The biggest shame really is we didnt even make it to winter before this up curve, so its another very hard 5 odd months ahead until spring.

Accepted the deaths are not as bad yet, but those where 20 odd a day in the summer and they have risen to 70 odd a day now nationally, so as much as I have pointed out Ian is just trolling.... he sort of has a point, maybe not now but potentially in the coming months East Hampshire could be on a local lockdown.

John, what is your problem? The intention of the original post was to provoke debate, not trolling. Just because you do not agree with someone does not mean you are right, or they are wrong! It certainly does not make them a troll, the characteristics of which you appear to be showing.
