straying ginger kitten
- Carole Burns (6th Jul 2011 - 12:02:11)

Pale ginger kitten with collar but no name tag seen straying from the library area into the garden at Lincoln Court (next to PRC). Very affectionate but scared and will not be picked up.
Has pointed face and howling loudly like a siamese. 11.30am Wednesday 6th July.

Please could I urge all cat owners not only to get their cats micro-chipped, but also to fit them with a collar and tag showing their name and phone number!!

This would make things so much easier for anyone finding a stray cat and avoid a lot of upset for the owners.

Dear Eneida,

Please would you come round and explain to my male cat?

We have tried all sorts of collars but he manages to get out of all of them after only a few weeks, losing both the collar and the tag. Very expensive!

His sister, however, keeps her collar and tags intact.

Hopefully someone will take him to the vet to have his microchip read if he loses his way home.

Boys eh?!

LOL Jay!!

Well at least you've had him micro-chipped...but it just goes to show that females have superior intelligence ;)

I'm very glad the missing kitten has been found safe and well...
