TRICK OR TREAT
- Ian (19th Sep 2020 08:59:01)
Can you please make sure when you answer your door to groups of kids that you have sanitised your hands and wear a mask! Remember to deep clean door bell/knocker as well between each visit! Stay safe. Alternatively parents, give it a miss this year! (I know it’s a month early but be prepared and all that!)

Ian
I'm sure you posted this with the best intention but i think you are bit over the top. First it is a well accepted fact by the medical experts that kids are not susceptible to Covid 19, so this deep cleaning between visits is not needed and as for sanitizing yours hands or gloves, you're not going to touch the kids are you, just get sweets in a bowl and let the kids take the treats.
But i think it would be nice if it was given a miss this year.

AF your aware that Ian is attempting to take the Gold Troll medal from the fruit troll Adrian, so responding to Ian just feeds him, they are probably the same person given Adrian dropped off and Ian popped up over the last few months.
Dont feed the trolls, otherwise this whole site becomes very painful

John,
How is he being a troll? He is giving advice. Nothing wrong or trollish about that.

Chances are that trick-or-treating will not be possible anyway, due to the Covid restrictions. Even if not banned, under the current circumstances it doesn't seem to me like a sensible thing to do.

Kids may not be susceptible to covid but they can be asymptomatic carriers and pass it on to the Elderly & the extremely clinically vulnerable.
Please think before you go knocking on people's doors , especially the elderly

John, how amusing that you are actually trolling the original poster. Agree with OP and others though, Trick or Treat not a great idea this year. Luckily in Finland so we don't celebrate it

Glad if it does not take place too and why put anyone to the bother of sanitising for an unwanted caller?
