Be good to yourself

Before the end of last week national papers reported that Tesco and Morrison had lowered petrol prices by 3 pence. Sainsbury were also quoted saying they would introduce a similar reduction over the next 24 hours or so. Since then I have seen prices come down around Liphook but not at the only petrol station in the vollage.
Some years ago I remarked to the cashier at the Godalming Sainsbury petrol station that the branch in Farnham were cheaper and was proudly informed that "we are always locally competitive".Because Sainsbury have no competition in Liphook does this mean we should be ripped off?
