Make me an offer! - Katy Clarke (21st Jun 2011 - 15:25:35) Play Golf?? We’ve won a four ball in the recent LIDBA raffle, valid for 1 year, at the Old Thorns Manor Hotel. However, as we don’t play golf (only the crazy type) we have agreed with Old Thorns and LIDBA that we’ll sell the prize to the highest bidder and donate all proceeds to the Peak Centre, Liphook. So go on, all you golfers, dig deep! Remember it's for a great local charity. The winner can collect from our house any time after the closing date of Friday 1st July. Or we’ll post it out to you after receipt of funds. You can make me a bid on the web site here or tel 729020. Good luck and thanks to LIDBA and Old Thorns for allowing us to do this. Katy

Just to clarify a couple of questions I have been asked: The voucher is valid for a year from today, you can use it any time during the week and at weekends from 12 noon onwards. It doesn't include the use of buggies (although I could lend you an old ladies walking frame to wheel your clubs round in, hee hee!) Hope that helps and please keep bidding. I am sure the Peak Centre will make good use of the funds and I would presonally like to thank Old Thorns and LIDBA for allowing us to auction the voucher.
