Most slots are booked for up to six weeks and I believe some Sainsburys are only delivering to elderly and vulnerable.
There are a few click and collect slots available.

Hello. Yes, in anticipation of being told to stay in for 3 months I tried to register but they're not accepting new applications. Tescos are happy to but haven't got any slots available for the foreseeable future. Looks like that new year resolution to diet is going to be enforced!

We are self isolating, have been constantly trying since Friday evening to get a delivery or click and collect slot from either Sainsbury, Tesco or Waitrose still no luck

Sainsburys Chief Exec says they have priority slots for elderly and vulnerable in e mails sent out to us customers.
You try and get one or try to get an answer from their 0800 328 1700 number, You are wasting your time.
I am 87 and have cancer, so tell me how I get a delivery slot please.

Impossible to get through to advise them we are in mid eighties and vulnerable. I even have a Sainsburys Bank card which must have age in the account details yet the web response is that we have not been identified as being vulnerable. Telling us to ring the one number they have available, which tells you they are unable to take calls because they are busy.
Sainsburys has always been a disaster. Waitrose is the only one really trying to help and they are inundated.

They had a meltdown yesterday. I did receive the promised second email at 8.01 this morning.
It has taken me some considerable time to get the order through, presumably because the site is under siege, but succeeded in the end! They seem to be releasing slots for priority customers a couple of days at a time.
Persevere.

I haven’t received any emails and when I try to book they say they haven’t identified us as vulnerable. I have a bank card and personal details give my age. They say let them know if you've been left out out but there is no way if they wont accept my calls to that one 0800 number.

Try this number 0800 052 5500. This is for the high risk customers. You speak to a real person and tell them what you would like to order. They may be very busy so please persevere.
