Foolish mistakes you have made .... - Finchie (10th Jun 2011 - 18:09:14) Good News - I have a few minutes (hours) to catch up on Talkback. Bad News - because I have been a complete donut - as a result I am stuck in a hotel in Zurich ! The short version of the story ... - I stuck the return flight in my calendar - then changed my BB to local central Europe time (i.e. added one hour) - so was an hour late for my flight Normally - I am ruthlessley efficient and make the right adjustment. I wouldn't have minded if I hadn't been at the airport all afternoon in a couple of meetings about 100m from check-in. And trust the Swiss to have no delays to the flight !! All remaining flights back are full. Even EasyJet to Luton ! So over to you folks - cheer me up by posting some stories about when you have done something equally disconcerting. Different Weekend !!! Re: Foolish mistakes you have made .... - Heather (24th Jun 2011 - 23:52:49) I gave my brain a few hours off on way to a course in Horsham last week (big exam completed day before!) and it was only when Horsham looked remarkably like Chichester that my brain came back. I'd pressed the wrong 'previous destination' button! I then decided that sticking to A roads was my best plan ... mmm .... the A roads to Worthing (!) and up to Horsham should be challenged under the Trade Descriptions Act. All I could hear in my head was Paul's (hubbie) response - but I'd better not type it here! :-) I assume you're home now. x

Re: Foolish mistakes you have made .... - Jill (25th Jun 2011 - 20:36:15) My sister and her husband, two intelligent people, met for lunch in Guildford last week, when they got home they wondered where their other car was, and for a moment thought it had been stolen, until they realised they had left it in Guildford!!!! Worse still in a 2 hour free parking bay!!!, It didnt get a ticket though!!!
