Bens Producers Market - Lesley (7th Jun 2011 - 14:39:35) Ben's market is on this Saturday in the Village Hall from 10-12. I shall have my stall there as usual but since I am going on the Horticultural Society outing my daughter-in-law to be will be running it for me. There will be baby beetroot, lettuce, gooseberry and redcurrants and I have made strawberry jam in both a soft and firm set, rhubarb and ginger jam, gooseberry jam and grapefruit marmalade. Cakes will include lemon drizzle, carrot, chocolate, vanilla Victoria sponge with home made jam and butter cream plus a med. veg and Feta cheese tart, a ham, cheese and onion quiche and sausage rolls. I shall miss seeing everyone.

I will be there with Gooseberry Ice Cream, as will other stall holders selling Pork, Eggs, Goats, Cheese, Cards, Wood Turning, Jewellery. Tea and Coffee will also be served.
