Scouts Autumn Fayre/Fete 1st Oct - Lesley (31st May 2011 - 11:28:28) Calling all Beaver, Cub and Scout parents (and anyone else who used to belong to scouts). A new mini bus/van will be needed soon for the use of the scouts so we are planning an Autumn Fete/Fayre to start the ball rolling with fund raising. There will be loads of stalls and activities including cakes, produce, bric a brac, books, tombola, raffle, guess the sweets in the jar/ weight of the cake, bobbing for apples, smash the crockery etc. Help will be needed to run the stalls and collect items to go on them. We used to do a big Christmas Fayre years ago which was hard work but great fun and well worth all the effort. Any donations for any of the stalls plus suggestions for other other stalls and activities and, of course, offers of help will be very gratefully received.
