Dog Faeces Plus! - Gloria Cuthbert (26th May 2003 - 10:16:22) Fairly new to Liphook and only just found this page. As I live near Radford Park I do not use the Rec. for dog walks. However in Radford Park there used to be both dog disposal bins and other waste bins now on longer there! Both dog faeces and human litter have not abated but we are now denied the proper disposal of same. I do not find the dog faeces such a huge problem but the human waste is something else! I daily clear up a whole carrier bag of cigarette packets, sweet papers, crisp bags, bottles, cans and fish and chip papers from my area of Liphook plus of course my dog's necessaries. Just walk down Tower Road and the part of London Road leading to this road it is totally appalling. At least the dog mess is biodegradeable but the plastic thrown about willy nilly by the humans is not! I agree that the areas around Liphook are beautiful but do the residents not worry beyond their invariable well tended gardens! I will continue to pick up the litter until this OAPs back finally gives out and then I suppose I will pick my way, knee deep, through the litter in my area!
