Does Liphook have to put up with the awful Guilfest advertising around the village?
In the past, even when asked to do so, the organisers do not remove their adverts after the event.

I was under the impression that some form of "consent" is required before advertising posters can be displayed. Can anyone confirm or otherwise.

Not sure if you do require any permission. I have never checked before sticking up any Carnival posters etc. I wish they hadn't stuck up their Guilfest posters, as they have nicked all the lamp posts that I was going to use to advertise the

CARNIVAL FUN DAY - 3RD JULY - 11AM - 4PM!!

Option 1. Stick your posters over theirs

Option 2. Replace theirs with yours

I don't suppose for one minute they would have any qualms about covering or removing yours.

Goodness me if there's nothing more to worry about in your lives than posters for guildfest then i envy you! Take them down yourselves after the event if they're that annoying!!
