I rang Peter, and explained the situation we were in, he came straight round, fitting us in between other work. He had quoted a rough figure for the work before arriving, and when it became obvious that the job would take twice as long, I offered to pay him more, thinking this was only fair. He was reluctant to accept more money, and only by pressing the point did I manage to get him to do so. A wonderful service from a fine plumber and thoroughly nice man. Thank you Peter

Peter fitted us in on his way home that same night - was actually round within a couple of hours of our call. Job done, and a very understanding approach to the cost of the work. I'm sure (regretfully) we'll have larger issues in the future - but will know where to go first now ...

Re: Local Plumber - Chris (16th May 2020  13:44:05) Have two recommend Peter Jones, fast, friendly and professional, he installed a new shower with a new isolation switch that I needed in a hurry. Called him late Friday afternoon, the job was done by Saturday lunchtime.
