Liphook Infant School Fair Sponsorship - 15th May - LISPA Liphook Infant School Parents Association (7th May 2011 - 10:44:13) I am currently looking for Sponsorship on behalf of LISPA for the May fair which is taking place on Sunday 15th May. We have a dedicated group of parents who work hard throughout the year to raise money for additional facilities and activities at the school. Over the last year we have helped to pay for a community room that opened for use in September of this year. We have also purchased much needed musical instruments for the children. This year we are raising funds to purchase video cameras and stills cameras which are a vital teaching tool for teachers. We are also hoping to extend our covered outside play area for our reception classes to enable them to continue playing and learning outside regardless of the weather. Our events are not just about fundraising, they are also for the children to enjoy. As well as the usual stalls, we hold a variety of raffles which, over the years and thanks to the generosity of local businesses, have proved to be very popular and so provide us with a large proportion of our income. We would be very grateful if any local businesses would consider donating a prize for us to raffle, or money off vouchers /discounts as these are always very popular. In return we will be delighted to publicise your business in the fair programme. If your prize involves dropping something off at the school could you possibly do this by Wednesday addressed to Carol G - LISPA. Otherwise let us know and we will send someone to collect! Peter, please could I ask you to drop a voucher/letter in to school confirming the value of the meals that you are willing to provide us as a raffle prize. Alternatively, if you are unable to drop something into the school then please let me know and we can arrange to pick something up from you. Maxine - I have sent you an e-mail Jennie - I can't remember there having been a mini car boot sale at the school in the 4 years that I have been involved with it. Perhaps it was before my son's time? LISPA do organise a baby clothes / equipment sale twice a year and I'm sure someone can provide you with details of when the next sale will be if you are interested Thanks again to you all and hoping for some more offers now that the thread is bumped back to the top! Re: Liphook Infant School Fair Sponsorship - 15th May - Sudha Rai (9th May 2011 - 19:19:09) Hi, I was at the Gurkha Chautari Nepalese Restaurant on Sunday,8th May and STILL no one had collected the Voucher for the Free Meal as our contribution to the LISPA Funday. Please can someone collect it? Hope the weather is not wet but nice and warm for the Event on the 15th! Sudha .
