Election Voting for the Parish Council MADE EASY
- T WILLIAMS (4th May 2011 - 20:36:52)

After reading all the relevant threads I have come up with a simple choice which is:-

1/ Four more years OF THE SAME infighting, where good Councillors either have false grievences made against them by the Parish Clerk or are" stitched up" with false formal complaints about them and then "throw the towel in," as has just happened with Councillor Phil Jordan this month.

All these expensive activities are used to cover up the self -serving purpose of a few councillors and Clerk { Anna James second Cousin}

OR

2/ Have a team of Councillors that work, as a team, for the good of the community.

OPTION1
In My opinion, DO NOT VOTE FOR, unless you want more of the same silliness and self serving attitude
G AMEY
J AUSTIN
A JAMES
N NEWMAN

OPTION 2
In My opinion, VOTE FOR a team that would work best for the community

Dawn HOSKINS
MIKE CROUCHER
Rob EVANS
Eve HOPE
Paul ROBINSON
Don JERRARD
Jackie POOLE
Peter WILLIAMSON
Barbara EASTON
Eddie TROTTER

N.B. you can just vote for the 10 nominations above, you DO NOT need to vote for the full 12 seats on the Parish council.

I'm quite surprised at a couple of your choices there, no doubt the lively nature of one or two canditates on talkback has succeeded in persuading you to choose them.. Though heaven knows why as it has done quite the opposite for me..

I'm surprised also at your omission of J Austin-Olsen who has always been very actively & positively involved in the village and also refrained from getting involved with what often turn out to be petty, bickering threads here on talkback (unlike some of the other candidates..)

I also thought that the whole point of these elections is for people to vote for their own opinions and judgements - and I wonder why you think your judgement so important as to publicise it to the whole village?
