The Royal Wedding
- Paul robinson (27th Apr 2011 - 15:30:29)

Good to see that many of our shops have chosen to decorate their windows with bunting and union flags to celebrate the happy couple.

First prize, if there was one, should go to Liphook Fish and Chips for their golden coach.

Astounding!

The only shop I saw decorated in shottermill on my way through was the chinese takeaway.

Tower Close residents will be hanging up their bunting today - street party tomorrow!

Apologies if anyone found my thread misleading but the street party tomorrow is for Tower Close residents only.
Hope everyone has fun no matter how they celebrate the event.

For all those who did not make the cut and were not invited to the big bash at Westminster Abbey, why not stroll down to the Deers Hut, Longmoor Road and toast the happy couple in style.

1.30p.m. Great live band, food and a top secret guest beer.

Who could ask for more!

Thank you for your enthusiam about the chip shop window. This was designed and put up by LISPA( Liphook Infant School Parent Association). All the children at the infant school made the pictures and bunting. The coach was made at 2nd Liphook Rainbows sleepover during the Easter holidays.

Another great chip shop window by LISPA (and the kids of course!!!)

Thank you guys for all the hard work and to the chip shop who donates to LISPA so generously and allows you to put the decorations up!
