Piano lessons?
- Barbara (25th Apr 2011 - 20:02:24)
Does anyone know of a local piano teacher for children? Have no idea how long a lesson would be, or how much they charge....any advice would be great!
Thanks!

My daughter has been having lessons for a number of years with a lady called Jo Levy who lives in Headley. She is really good. My daughter is now working towards her grade seven at the age of 15. She plays beautifully and Jo is a really great teacher, very patient and kind. She covers both practical and theory.
She starts the younger ones with a half hour lesson and charges less than £10. Once they get a bit older then she does hour long lessons which are also very reasonable.
I don't know if she has any spaces at the moment but if you are interested please contact me via the editor and I can give you her phone number.

Another local teacher is Sally Shillabeer in Liphook.
You will find her in the phone book.

I can highly recommend Sally Shillabeer. She taught 3 of my boys the piano. They were ages 7-12.

Hi
I am also looking for a recommended local piano teacher for my daughter. Please could you let me have Jo Levy's contact number so that I can see if either she or Sally Shillabeer have any spaces? Any further suggestions would also be gratefully received.
Many thanks
