Whiteley's Restaurant - PETER WHITELEY (24th Apr 2011 - 10:20:34) Senior Citizen Lunch. Starting In May we are offering Senior Citizens a Two and Three Course Lunch Deal for £7.50 and £8.50 this will be on offer from Tuesday to Friday and will include choice of mains and starters and desserts. We are also offering Wedding and Function discounts of up to 50% off.Remember all Whiteley's Customers dining with us will receive 10% of all their drinks cost back, to be redeemed on food later together with our free membership card.

Re: Whiteley's Restaurant - PETER WHITELEY (25th Apr 2011 - 22:57:42) Yes if they are a Genuine full time carer for the Senior citizen why not?The idea is to attract retired people who are on a pension and who would like to dine during the week and are not restricted by the normal working week. One more not related new thing we are planning to do at Whiteley's is a'' ready steady cook''type of teaching evening where we choose some unusual say desserts and starters and demontrate this to you as part of your dining experience off a set Menu at a set price;this will be on a Wednesday or Thursday evening.

Re: Whiteley's Restaurant - Peter (28th Apr 2011 - 21:34:43) Eat,Enjoy and watch the Royal Wedding at Whiteley's,we're open from 11:30am onwards on Friday,Saturday,also we are open on Sunday as normal,with À la carte menu and Full Carvery too!

Re: Whiteley's Restaurant - PETER WHITELEY (31st May 2011 - 19:45:29) I feel i must reply to a lot of my customers comments that i get in here at Whiteley\'s lately;the most common is \'\'Why are you so quiet,when your food is so good?(this is normally during the week)My answer is two fold 1.The site of Whiteley\'s used to be The Robin Hood,which was avoided like the plague! and 2.Not enough people know how good and reasonably priced our food is now! I can\'t believe the amount of cars that come to Whiteley\'s,during weekday evenings and then slowley drive past and go,without even seeing what were like or even looking at our New menu.Now i must point out that on Sundays,this is the opposite,we see plenty of people that day and functions.and celebration parties. It is also true that some people are like sheep,they only follow other people and assume that if nobody is there then their must be something wrong with the place,this is so far from the truth its unbelievable! I challenge any genuine people to come here,if they dont like it they can have a free meal!

Re: Whiteley's Restaurant - PETER WHITELEY (1st Jun 2011 - 23:14:26) Please be advised that our senior citizen menu is now available for all during weekday lunchtimes.Also please be informed that it is now possible for people to obtain a membership card(this card entitles the holder to just drink at Whiteley's if they choose)without having to eat,these cards will remain the property of Whiteley's and will be removed from anybody behaving in a disreputable manner.Please note that every £1 spent on drink ,10% is refunded back to the card for future food redemption by the member.

Re: Whiteley's Restaurant - PETER WHITELEY (6th Jun 2011 - 14:49:58) I would just like to let people know our opening times as i have noticed some people turning up here when we are closed.Please note unless you book we will be closed in the evening after 9pm if there is no customers left in the restaurant.We will always take a booking after that time. MONDAYS-CLOSED TUESDAY-12 TO 3PM THEN 6PM TO FINISH WEDNESDAY-12 TO 3PM THEN 6PM TO FINISH THURSDAYS-12 TO 3PM THEN 6PM TO FINISH FRIDAYS-12 TO 3PM THEN 6PM TO FINISH SATURDAY-12 TO 3PM THEN 6PM TO FINISH SUNDAY-12 TO 5PM (last orders 4pm) Evening Closed I hope this helps; if you want to make a reservation for the afternoon times we are closed we will open especially for you.
