Bonfires

Can anyone please tell me why people decide to light bonfires in the middle of the day while I`m trying to dry my washing ! I know there is no law against it but a little bit of consideration wouldn`t go amiss...6pm would be just fine to light up !!!!

Years ago a friend of mine was so cross about a bonfire making her washing all smelly she plucked it off the line and took it along to the person having the bonfire and asked them to re-wash it for her. He (or maybe his wife!) did - and no more bonfires during the day afterwards!! Worth a try??....
