We Need You - Miranda Rowe (11th Apr 2011 - 12:34:01) Liphook in Bloom are having a Litter Picking Day. All volunteers are welcome to join us on MAY 8th 2011. We'll be meeting at the Midhurst Road Car Park at 9.30am. Many hands make light work ! It would be great to see you there... and would appreciate your help in keeping our lovely village clean of litter. Sorry about the delay in replying... have been trying to get hold of the lady organising the day... who knows all the details but I think she's away... but I'm sure she'll be along soon. However, I think that bringing gloves would be great... I think that the rubbish sacks will be provided along with hi-vis vests etc... We usually only work until lunchtime and stop at around 11am for coffee and kit-kats... But if you can't manage the whole time, that's really ok... just join us for however long you can... thank you. Susie... Look forward to seeing you and your kids... Also it's great that you're picking rubbish in Radford Park, so we can all enjoy the park free of litter... thank you.

Re: We Need You - Miranda (28th Apr 2011 - 08:16:07) You may have seen an article in the Liphook Herald saying that the Litter Pick Day is on Saturday 7th May... it is NOT on that day... it is on Sunday 8th May.... don't want any confusion !
