SATURDAY NIGHT & SUNDAY MORNING
- Bill Ratcliffe (10th Apr 2011 - 08:56:51)

Anyone know the source of the disturbing disco sound heard throughout Saturday night and Sunday morning?

It was very loud in Longmoor Road but its source seemed to be elsewhere.

I too had a sleepless night - right up to 7am. This could be heard over the Haslemere side of Liphook

Me too...to say I am now grumpy and tired due to that music until at least 6 this morning is an understatement!!! When we find out I suggest an early morning visit with drums, symbols, bagpipes etc!!!!

We are on the Headley Road and it was awful!

We did too in Passfield! Think it started around 2.30 in the morning and then stopped around 6am, only to restart on and off around 7-8am. The most annoying thumping dance beat - wouldn't have minded so much if it was something good. The reason I know it started around 2.30 is that it woke my children up and then I was half awake for the rest of the night.

Fynings Hill is in between Rake and Rogate.

Interesting.....However, am I the only one who thinks the fact that the police would not close it down incase there was a riot is a tad unreasonable given the size of the area it seems to have affected?!

Just very glad I don't live any nearer!

Re: SATURDAY NIGHT & SUNDAY MORNING

We where told there were not enough officers to close it down safely by sussex police when we phoned to complain at 5am ( after been told to phone Hampshire then surrey police finally sussex police seemed to be the governing force)

As I said to the lady who answered the phone dont the residents come first rather than an illegal rave ???

Plenty of army at Bordon would have made a good exercise for them riot control
