Missing Wheelie Bin
- Dave (7th Apr 2019 - 14:47:22)

Has anyone in the Tunbridge Crescent area found they have an extra black wheelie bin as mine went missing following Tuesday's collection.

If you have it please let me know and I will arrange collection. If it doesn't find its way home then in future everything will go in the green bin.

Thanks in advance of any help.

Dave

It may be worth a call to EHDC. My green bin went missing after a collection, rang the Council and it turned out it had been caught up in the machinery of the truck. A replacement one was subsequently delivered free of charge.

Please don't throw you stuff in the green bin.

Please contact EHDC who will contact Biffa.

What sometimes happens is that the bin gets 'eaten' by the collection vehicle.

This happened to me in Longmoor Road and I duly reported it and a brand new bin was delivered within a couple of days.

Good luck

Hi,

This happened to us a little bit down the road from you! The bin lorry ate it! Just phone the council and they will replace for free and it comes when they next empty that colour of bin. I think the bin men also record that it happened.. or still phone though!

Good luck!

We had one "taken" - we knew it from the marks and saw it in the next road being used by another house. The new one is now clearly marked with the house number !!!
