Bill Mouland, thank you for putting up the list of candidates for the District Council elections. It beggars belief that Don Jerrard is standing when as a Parish Councillor he was found to be guilty of:
Bullying
Lack of openness and transparency
Failing to remain objective
Failing to engage in a respectful and courteous manner or listen to the interests of all parties
Failing to work together with council officers
Conducting himself in an unacceptable manner
I hope that all candidates will put up their manifestos or flyers on this site so people know what they are voting for.
In my opinion, a leopard doesn’t change its spots, despite outward charm and silver tongued persuasion. So, should Don Jerrard come to my door it will remain very firmly shut. Be warned, be wary, and don’t get sucked in.

Also fascinating to read who proposes the candidates, and who seconds them.
As in, some candidates of note have in common the same proposer - Barbara Easton. This is on the public record.

The current incumbents - Mouland, Glass and Standish - currently do an excellent job. They're very involved in village life and support many local organisations through appropriate use of their grant funds.
I really hope they are voted back in as I can't imagine Jerrard and his sidekick, Trotter, will be in the slightest bit interested in residents as they clearly have their own agenda which is to try and get a foothold at the District Council who are the people who brought the code of conduct complaints against Jerrard to conclusion.
Don't forget Jerrard doesnt even live here so why the interest in the parish and district council here when he could have stood in Greatham where he lives!!
