Cars racing up and down London Rd
- Helen (25th Feb 2019 - 23:22:57)
Did anyone witnessed the car or cars that where racing up and down London Rd opposite Radford Park between approx 10.45 and 11pm tonight ? Sounded very loud with wheel spinning and burnouts. Certainly dangerous idiotic driving entering a 30 limit.

If you really want the old bill to respond then tell them the drivers have been yelling racist, homophobic or sexist abuse out the window. Guaranteed a quick response and full investigation

Responding to trivial matters like little boys shouting racist insults and throwing banana skins out of cars gives the under resourced police no time to deal with real crimes like violent crime, drug dealing and murders.

The general gist of this thread is youngsters driving fast don't fear being caught as they know there is precious little police presence in the area. The theft of cash machines from rural spots show this is a widespread problem. Although it will not solve the problem of boy racers, drug dealing and rural crime I suggest people lobby their politicians to increase police numbers and more importantly to put police back on the road to enforce the laws. Criminals travel by cars, yet marked police cars are few and far between. I regularly travel north 350 miles and I can go whole journeys on the motorway system without seeing a single police car. The odd speed camera van is usually the only police presence. Sitting comfortably having a coffee recording speeding cars on the safest roads in the country is not I suggest, a good use of resources. The standard of driving is definitely declining as a result. As a young man I was deterred from driving like an idiot, as you never knew if the headlights behind you, or coming towards, you was a police car. These days the chances of that are virtually zero. I would add that for first time in months, I actually saw a marked police car yesterday driving through Liphook. I was genuinely surprised!

Just stand outside in a high vis vest and point a hair dryer at their cars like that fabulous granny does in Liverpool

Yes Helen drug dealing is still happening at night in London Rd opposite Radford Park. It’s usually in the road/ lay-by next to Radford Bridge /horses’s field. We have been filming them and the doggers along with the wildlife. 101 are not interested in such minor crime these days.

Hi Betty, a friend of mine was asking about the film related to dogs. No idea why, as he has no pets and has never expressed any interest in having them.
Happy Weekend all !
It’s been a while, but happy 2019.
Cheers, Finchie

Finchle you will find plenty of dogs of the four legged type barking all day long in the area next to the horse’s field. The house there is keeping riverside dogs in kennels
